Attempt at Photoshop

I started trying to learn how to use Photoshop about a month ago. This is one of my attempts. Removed pole, wires and signs in window. Also changed the sky, Jeff

good job :) ( I REALLY need photoshop lol)

Coming right along Grandpaw :) The only real negative that I notice, and it's tough in these situations, is the pieces of sky you can see in the trees that don't match the one you added. Also, need a little clean up around the edges of the trees. Doing mighty fine considering you just started learning it :thumbsup:

I would love to know how you did this and what version of ps you have.

That's an excellent result for just "trying to learn." Nicely done!

Either PSE or PS or PSP will allow you to do this.

Nice work. A couple of things - (looking at this on a laptop so the monitor isn't calibrated yet.)

I think you went a bit to far with the levels on the modified pic. That is the road is to bright and so is the building. seems a little washed out.

Agree with Aaron about the trees.

I prefered the crop of the original. If you cropped because the sky was to small then you can use the transform to resize the sky to match the size of the original pic. Just curious why the crop?

The reason I croped it this way was I needed to get it into a 8x10 or 11x14 crop format. There wasn't enough room in the picture height to be able to get the tree in the picture. That was a mistake on my part. Hopefully I won't make that mistake again in the future, Jeff
