It wasn't dead when she brought it in.
She had to chase it around the furniture indoors and bat it around it a bit to finish it off.

Our cat has caught one mouse in her life...they need to learn how when young I guess.

She also eats mosquitoes and flies, but won't eat ants.

Ah yes, forgot the insects.
She is on a one cat crusade against grasshoppers, crickets and beetles.
