Art Nudes and Fetish Photography

I may not be in many of you genres but my background was. I started shooting wildlife when I was just a boy.My first camera was the Pentax ME Super and I fell in love with SLR cameras. I progressed to medium format with the voightlander bessa 2 and still use it today even at it ripe old age of 64.about 2 years ago I found my true niche in fetish nudes and have continued down that path. Though for the past few years street photography has been my passion, but prior to that, I was heavy into the glamour/nude field. I know nothing about fetish photography, but I'll take a look at your gallery on deviant art. :-)

I try to keep an open mind about the artistic endeavors of others, and while this is certainly quite a far cry from "mainstream" I don't think it fits the classic definition of porn. While there were 3 or 4 decent shots in the dA gallery, I found it overwhelmingly mediocre and lacking in creativity. It doesn't look like much forethought was given to lighting and setup. I have seen truly inspiring, tasteful, and creative photography in this niche, but very sorry to say - this ain't it. This looks very much like GWC type stuff and again, sorry to offend you if I seem overly critical, but I can't imagine what useful advice you might have for others beyond how to get the models to actually agree to pose for you. I highly suspect you'd get similar responses at Garage Glamour, Shot Critic and some of the other sites more specifically geared to nude photography.

I've already looked at it and I disagree. It may be pushing the limits for some people. But it is photography, even if it's not for everyone.
