You're pretty weird yourself, almo and I rather like that last shot.
So I got bored waiting for the wife and the camera was in the car so......
Nice one! About time you joined in Frog.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

Thanks, OT! This thread does have me looking in the mirror more often.
I was pretty surprised that the above came out as well as it did...hold d80 in hand with 18-200 as far from self as possible, turn toward self, click.
I am really hurt!! Speed you didn't post your self portrait in this thread too!! Come on the more places you get it the more admires you'll have.

I know we have a thread somewhere with self portraits, but it's getting kind of long in the tooth and I since I just did an impromptu selfer Sunday I thought I'd start a new one so I wouldn't have to look at my last feeble attempts again. I was just passing a mirror on my way back in the house with a camera in my hand and couldn't resist the urge. Feel free to post up any new selfers you have or rush right out and get a few and post them.
There you go again, showing off the size of your, er, ah, equipment!
It was a bright and sunny day in coastal North Carolina. It was also hot and humid. You sweated just sitting in the shade...
Now you got them all covered, nice going Speedo. Now hand that camera to the lovely Dawn and we can brighten up this thread a bit.

well, here is the non motorcycle me, one that was not out of focus, its ok, but I might try again lol I had a really hard time with that, why?
Don't know why that took you so long Lori. Nice job with the selfer. I think it is only natural for us to be a little more sensitive about our own photo than those thousands of other people that we take.

You probably don't realize this thread is about me
You've all seen plenty of self-portraits from me and you know how beautiful I am. But these are a little different so I thought I'd throw them into the mix. They were taken with the Olympus Stylus 1030 SW I'm currently wrapping up a review for.
I was also wondering who the second person was in your "self portrait"!
Love the selfers...It is just a group of beautiful talented people...

I really like the gritty look and feel of this self portrait. Makes me feel like I know you just a bit better.

It's been a while and time to bring this thread back to life. I hope everyone has been doing a few self portraits. Here is my latest effort. It was taken with the self timer and the camera sitting on an end table and the lens balanced on a small toy car of my grandsons. You'll notice I included my wife Joy in the shot just to keep you looking and make it a bit more interesting. Hope everyone will post a new self portrait soon.
