    Not really sure...

Is it some sort of warbler? Also, I'm thinking it's a juvenile what ever it is.

    Cool Wow! Beautiful!

I am not a bird person, but I would take a "wild" guess - some kind of warbler?

Whatever, he/she is very sharp with a great background blur.......beautiful photo. ;)

    He's singing?

It's 104 degrees here so I assumed he was just hot and panting.. That's what all the little birdies are doing here today.

Seeing as I'm not a birder, I'm fairly happy that I at least got "warbler" correct. Don't give us the answer until tomorrow. I want to go home and break out my Patterson's (or is it Peterson's??) guide and see if If I can properly identify it.

    Thanks for the challenge Paul!

Posting a picture of a stud looking for action, flaunting his physique. Disgraceful! ;)

How close did you get to it? What camera settings were you using? I've tried taking pics of birds, and it's a lot harder than it looks.

    This is wonderful!

Paul, there are not many photos I think are frame worthy, but this one definitely is! What a great moment you've captured. Gene sent this to me in an email, and he added this thought to it: "Look at God's creature giving him praise." The more I photograph nature, the more I am in awe of its Creator. Great work, and thanks for sharing this image.

    OH PLEASE!!!!!!

I CAN GET 115 in a day....... but would need 200 species to win

besides...... those teams that win scout 2 months straight 24 hours a day!!!!

nocturnal flight NOTES are not my thing(my cousin's team has 100 by sun up)

BUT we raise $500 atleast for NJ AUDUBON
