Alessandra's Vegas Pool Adventure

Hello everybody and I hope that the weekend was good.

Last weekend, Karen, Alessandra, and I spent the weekend in Las Vegas to hit the pool and to relax. It was a great time, and Alessandra loved swimmng with mom. While they played in the pool I was busy taking pictures. As you can see, Alessandra had WAY too much fun and I was able to take a photo of her passed out by the pool with a drink. :) I guess it sucks sometimes to have a dad who is a photographer!!

We stayed at a non-gaming and non-smoking hotel and it was a great way to go. I only wished that we could stay longer.

In this photo she is 4 1/2 months old. She is so tall, and growing up so fast.

Yeesch, we're back at school and I haven't had a chance to check in for a few days. She certainly is a doll. It won't suck for her if you involve her in the shooting when she is able to comprehend. My 11 and a half year old doesn't mind since she now has her pink polaroid 5mp point and shoot. When we do her dance shots, I let her pick the poses and figure backgrounds, lighting schemes etc. She also gets a payback shot or twoof me at the end when we're finished her set. My 17 year old son summed up the video shooting pain that I am. During his kindergarten graduation, many moons ago, he's a high school senior this year, he set the tone of his displeasure with, "Aw Dad, can't you just use the shotgun mic from the back like a semi normal father and not make me wear the wireless lavaliere? Oh well, one out of two willing victims ain't bad.

Keep shooting, don't put the cameras down for the rest o fher life. She'lll appreciate it in later years.
