Addicted Beginner! - Please Comment :)

So i finally got my internet working at home and could upload some pics. these are the first couple of pictures i have taken w/ my camera(i have a cannon A75 .. i tried to mess w/ the settings rather than using the autosetting that comes w/ the camera).

Let me know what you think and what i could fix. Maybe i should post on critique.

I know w/ a P&S camera i am going to have problems w/ my DOF. From what i have read here that is the main issue w/ P&S

I think very soon your going to want to upgrade from P&S to an SLR. Good composition on all 4.

I totally agree w/ you but i couldnt justify paying that much for a camera, not knowing if it was going to be something i would stick w/. The more i am falling in love w/ it the more i want to get an SLR. I have been checking Ebay looking for used ones recently. I am a broke college student :D

Are these photos in a user group in Yahoo? Do you have to log in as a member to view them? Just wondering if that's the problem.

ya i dont know what the deal is w/ that. They work in the link format but they dont show up using the img tag. I will probably try to upload them to my school account and use that space.

Could you see the pictures by clicking on the link?

No I don't see the images either way. The links give me an error.
I think that in order to view messages, images etc from a Yahoo user group,you have to be registered to that particular group.

The links don't work for me either. I wonder why hodgy could view them?

No need to upload to your school account; just use the upload feature on this site.

I had to resize the image i dont know how the affected the quality.
