ACDC Black Ice tour

ACDC arrived in Toronto last night for their second sold out date here in my home town. It was an outstanding concert that I would have to place on par with the best I have seen.

Here's a few shots form the camera I was able to smuggle in. Only a P&S but I quickly discovered that I was not the only person with a camera inside. Security obviously doesn't care or had decided that there's no way they were tossing that many people for the same infraction.

I went to the Nov 1 show in chicago. Lets just say loooooooooouuuuuuuuuuuuddddddd!!!!!!!!

My 2nd acdc concert. 1st one was in Blow up your video tour Melbourne in 88.

It was a awesome concert, me and my gf went to the Chicago show on Nov. 30. I wish she would have taken her camera but I did manage on pictures with my phone, I will up load in a bit.
BTW, it was the first time that I seen them live and all I can say is..... Unreal....

WHAT?!?!?!?!?! lol

This was my first time seeing them live. I missed the first show since it sold out in 19 minutes, I got lucky when they announced a 2nd date and ended up getting floors. What an outstanding show. My only complaint is if you are going to bring you kids with you.... don't let them dress like hip hop fashion plates ... they look rediculous.

Oh man I am sooooooo jealous! Thanks for posting these! Looks like one of those shots is from the song "whole lotta rosie" I saw them on tour in oh maybe '87 and it was still the best show I have seen. Ok, going back to look again :D

Yea, the first day for the Chicago show, on Nov. 30, they didn't have the Rosie blow up doll... :cryin: But it was still a great concert.

Last big concert I went to looked like a sea of iPhones. Funny :)

For me, it ain't AC-DC without Bon Scott. I never could get into Brian Jones' voice. But Angus amazes me. He just keeps on rocking. It's amazing. I think if you distilled rock and roll, Angus Young guitar is what you'd get. For me, it's the purest, truest rock sound there is.

Nov 30? Shows at the allstate were Oct 30 and Nov 1. :)

James, I was on the other side the platform from where you took those pics, give or take a few rows.

I wanted to see them when they were in Pittsburgh last week, but between the $100 ticket price and the fact that it sold out in 2 hours, well, I didn't make it.
I've seen them 10 times thru the years, but my favorite is still their 1st US Tour (with Bon Scott, of course) I'd actually not heard of them before, was mainly there to see the opening band - Nantucket. But with the 1st riff from Angus I was hooked! Oh, and the cost of that 1st show?

$5!!!

Well thank you all for the photos and information. I have tickets for tomorrow nights concert in Fargo. just to the left of the extention that comes out from the stage. Looks like it will be a fantastic show. Hope I can get some photos with the little P & S i'm going to bring in.

They are gods of rock. No doubt, one of the most influential bands ever existed. I bought an SG because I wanted to look like Angus Young. Not long ago I started buying newer equipment for my guitar. Take a look at the best overdrive pedal on has-sound. I was so happy when I found it because it makes really awesome sound.
