    9 month project...

So, I documented my sister's pregnancy and birth last year. It took me a few weeks but I finally put the images together in a book. I used Asuka books in Portland and just recieved the books today (ordered 2).
I got 2 10x10 80 sided hardbound books. I can't tell you how pleased I am with the final outcome.
I've attached a link to view the pages I designed. (nothing fancy, but i'm happy with it).

I'll try and take some photos of the actual book and share those sometime.

I'm very pleased with Asuka and will use them in the future. Quick turn around, they called me the same day with questions about my layout (i had 1 or 2 images that didn't go all the way to the edge of the layout for a proper bleed and they called to make sure that that was the way I wanted it or if I wanted to fix it and re-send.)

    Comments are always welcomed.
my sister hasn't seen it yet either, but she did okay the pages and layout.

Hello Kat, very nice...I'm sure your sister is going to cherish the book forever and it will be something that her child will treasure. I also really like your site and the way you have your photos organized. The slideshow is a neat effect. I have only looked at your "9 month" project so far, but am very interested in viewing your other links.
    Great work!

    Hey Katt,

Beautiful work there! Site design is great to (the link to the book didn't work, but it could be fixed in browser, one of your slashes didn't register properly with the link).

You're sister is going to love it!

    Very nice....

To echo what Ken said, I sure your sister will love the book. But, her little one will really love the book -- especially some time when she is over 5 years ould and really wants to understand it all.

BTW, do you live in Portland?

Great idea IMO. A wonderful way to have a professional looking type set up for your photos.

    Well done, looks great.

    Thank you all.
I really enjoyed it and hope to get a few clients to do the same thing, or similar, with.
I'll go back and see if I can fix the link. Thanks for the heads up.

Oh... I'm up north of seattle.
