    4 Generations

Not what I wanted, but it turned out the best that I could. My vision was to make it as classy as possible, but it turned out to be a 5 minute setup and trying to get as many photos as possible.

    I am so rusty!!!

This is my favorite, but I need to do some serious work on the images. If I don't post it now, I probably will not have time to do so next week.

As you can see, Alessandra is a very happy child and mom is very proud.

Great looking group of ladies Loren. Very classic, yet casual, I like it.

    Loren,

This is a wonderful photo......a treasure. Alessandra has such a beautiful face and smile. I'm so glad you found the time to post the photo so we could all see the 4 generations.

I think this is nice. And it's great that you made the effort to make this photo. Four generations of women together is a wonderful thing.

    Re: 4 Generations

    Thanks John,

I had wanted something that Karen would be proud of for many years. We both got home stressed out, so we both didn't have time. I felt a little bad for her since our time with Alessandra is so limited during the week.

In the end, it's so rare to have 4 generations that I love looking at the photo. It's a gift for Alessandra and overall, I am very happy with it now.

I rented Westcott Spiderlite's and just love the lights. It made it easier!!!

    Thanks John...

Loren - I think it's a success. However, I wonder if zooming/cropping or arranging the shoot so only their faces were showing might achieve results with even more impact. I like the B&W.

Aren't those continuous lights? They're a flourescent array, if I remember right. I remember looking at them and thinking they looked really nice. My Photoflex lights really generate some heat. Flourescents would be nice, if the color balance is good.

The spiderlites are pretty cool. You can change the heads to flourescent, tungsten or strobes.
