Noon and on my way back home. It's a little later and a little hotter where I live.

When I get home I can see that there isn't going to be anything sitting on the table ready to eat. When your daughter just got out of college life takes a little more relaxed turn for a while.

So it's off to the local eatting join for lunch. In my small town as in many that usually means the DQ. It was a busy day there as always.

Afternoon has started off slow, but it doesn't keep me from my appointed rounds. Just about every afternoon includes a trip to the bank and the post office.

Forgot my camera this morning. What a knucklehead! A friend was coming into town and agreed to pick it up and bring it to me.

A shot of my desk. 6/01/06 4:26:28 PM Eastern Time.

Don't laugh, I cleaned up for this!

Usual Thursday morning hike, didn't get to see anything until just after noon. Wasn't much to shoot, but here's a few.

1- some kind of big blue bird (heron?)
2- Some raggedy wildflowers near the trail
3 - A farm on the way home, had to try out the new polarizer.
