Wanted to try something as I was laying awake at 4:30ish this morning. So I put the camera in the window and bulbed it 'til I felt like letting go. I focused on something in my room that was the same aprox. distance as the car, and set the camera down. I did not compose, as I could not see in the dark to do so. With the exception of converting from RAW, and resizing, the image is straight from the camera.

I was pretty surprised by the result. I just ordered a remote and a tripod last night. My new personal goal is to catch a galaxy!
