    A picture a day for 2008

So i have started a yearlong project of taking at least one picture per day for 2008. whether I feel like it or not. I can already tell that this will be much more challenging than I anticipated...

    Here is today's

I would love to pretend that I could achieve technical perfection every day, but that ill never be the case. The project is about forcing myself to shoot, and not just waiting for the ideal days or situations.

( I am wondering what i will do about January 17th, as I am going to be on a plane crossing the international date line that day....)

That's a very good idea..had been trying to get one keeper a day..but posting them, anywhere makes it more effective,a greater challenge.
    Loved your website-very colorful,inspiring.
About the 17th Jan...unless you are on the plane 24hrs,...airports are a goldmine,
-spend many hours a year in them, myself, and had some of my fav. shots...
Good luck with the next year, looking forward to seeing the shots.

    Re: A picture a day for 2008

I think this is a great exercise for anyone - I have started one with our photoclub and we have quite a few people giving it a go ... It is very hard to do 1 every day ! I was doing good for about a month ... then got sidetracked and been lax on it .... but it really helps the creativeness of your shooting.

Nikoncafe has a forum dedicated to this project also ... I seen a guy shoot his dinner everyday for like 3 weeks. Got some very creative lighting and such ...

good luck with your project !
