$200 rebate on the D70

was on Nikon's site looking at lenses and info and saw that they had a $200 rebate on the D70 kit....till March 31st ---which takes it down to $799...almost makes me wanna buy a second one...

as if I could afford it

That is mostlikely because....

NIKON is notorious for releasing cameras AFTER PMA ;)

TRUE THAT !!!! But neither is $800 for a NIKON

But my point is.... It's a gamble , as the NEW (if I am correct) D(whatever) may be 8MP 5FPS, flash sync at 1/500th , bigger buffer AND ONLY BE $100 more ( as with the release of the new Dreb )

But, $799 for a D70 is a GREAT PRICE!!!!!

Don't forget the lens is included and, that kit lens is surprisingly quite good which makes this deal pretty amazing.

Just got my D70 kit a week ago (woo! hoo!). I also got the SB-800 and a 70-300 ED zoom making my total rebate $275!!!! I sent all the rebate stuff a few days ago.

I was wondering where you can get the D70 kit for $799 after rebates? If I just got the D70 body, it would be $799 after a $100 rebate at B&H.
