Wall to Floor Corners for studio backdrop
Hi there,
Some time ago I came upon an advertisement for panels you could install in the corners of your
studio to remove those sharp 90 degree corners at floor-wall and wall-floor-wall junctions. These were curved lexan or some other plastic panels and would be fastened to the floor and wall, had about a 4 foot radius or so and would be blended in with sheetrock compound and then painted. Can't find them now that I want them. Anyone know?
Lemme know .... Jim

Welcome to the site, Jim. It's called a cyc (short for cyclorama)...
To see some of what's available, go to www.calumetphoto.com and enter Infinity+Walls in the search box.
Never tried making this kind of stuff myself, but at these prices, I'd sure consider it...

I would also check some home improvement outlets like Lowes or Home Depot. I believe they have kits that can curve the corners with prefab moulded panels that can be painted or plastered over, for those trying to elimate corners in the house for aesthetic purpose, but would work for what your trying to do as well. As Steve said, doing it yourself would be alot of savings and these kits I think would be cheaper at one of the home improvement outlet stores.
