Two or three strobes what is best position for high key

Hi all I have just registered today and I am trying to get some help with my lighting
I manage to get a reasonable picture but not quite how it should be I either get a pink tint or I get blown hi lites in one corner.

What am I doing wrong please?

If you could post a photo or two that show the problem you're having, that would help greatly.

For a high key look you'd probably want one strobe up high in front of and facing down towards the model. Under her nose you'd get a "butterfly" type shadow. Then you can use a reflector under her face to bring up some of the shadows.

The other two strobes can be used on either side of your backdrop (If you're using one) to make it white.

Yeah, like jm says, we really need to see the shots to evaluate them...

The pink tint has me curious, as the lights themselves shouldn't be the cause of this. Sounds like flare or reflected color from a wall or other close surface or material.

Hi guys thanks for the advice I will try again

By the way my walls are light a sort of ivory colour and my backdrop is colourama white paper the picture attached is not really a good example but you may see the slight pink tint and it is not the dog as I took one of my neice which I am sorry but I deleted it earlier she did not like looking too pink lol,

I have one strobe facing the background and a soft box in front of model the other light at the other side I guess this must be where I am going wrong.
