Set up help needed.
I am planning to set up a color digital lab only, howver there are some customers who also need passport size photos.
So I will have to shoot them using digital camera.
I dont want to set up a studio using all the professional lighting equipment and other studio accesories. Is there a way to have a simple compact setup with only the backdrop and a digital camera? Please help.Any photos of such a set up will be greatly appreciated.

Hi, welcome to the site. First of all, I would check with your own "State Department" or whatever office is in charge of issuing passports, and see what the requirements are for the photos.
In the US, they need only be "accurate", showing what the passport holder actually looks like.
With that in mind, there is usually no real style to the shots, but simply frontal lighting, maybe one on each side of the camera slightly above it to eliminate shadows.
That's a pretty easy and inexpensive setup, but I think you will need at least some lights to work with.
Hope that helps...
