Radiopopper

This radio transmitter work somewhat like the pocket wizard but only seem to be better, I thinks I'm going to get me one sometime soon for outdoor shoot.

It's claiming to do things that just don't seem possible.
For example my Canon, when a flash is attached, will not allow me to select any shutter speed above 1/250 second.
So there is no way that the radiopopper can overcome that.

well, after waching the video and it sound very convincing. I will order one next week for try out and post some result next week or so.

Hi shutter speed flash requires multiple flash firings as the shutter opening travels across the film or sensor frame. I suppose it's possible that this do-dad can manage that, but I'm skeptical.

Still, they make the claim. I suppose a field test is the only way to find out...

The only way on my flash is to set it to Focal Plane mode, which turns it into a high speed stroboscope - but at much reduced flash power.

As you say, a field test will show it.

Yeah, that's the tradeoff. I guess it depends on what you're trying to shoot...

Well trying to shoot cars over 20 metres away in a blacked out hall I can say that didn't work with a 580EX :(

On the second though I will keep the multimax to do the job just fine. I'm shooting mostly wedding and portrait so the PW been good why spend another couple 200buck when I can save for that 24-105 lens.
