Longshot, but - speedlite 300EX to Canon D?
Anyone know of any way possible to get a speedlite 300EZ to work with the canon digital rebel? This is all I have for the moment! :(

No, it won't work with the digital cameras. Only the EX speedlites do.

    Manual Flash?
Won't it work in manual flash exposure mode? I don't recall anything about the 300EZ, but any flash with one contact should work in manual mode. Unless Canon has rigged that camera so that only current flashes will work. Or maybe that flash doesn't have any manual flash controls? In that case it would only output at 100%. You'd need to control the flash exposure with the camera aperture - just like in the old days! I can't imagine that it wouldn't work at all, though.

An EZ will go off at full power in manual mode. You have to set the aperture to control exposure. 1/60 @ f/8 is a good place to start for experimenting.
