    Lighting Test Shots
    I dug out the white paper background for a shoot recently and these the test shots before the real subject got there. Had a friend stand in as the stunt double while I set my lights up. Had to work in a really tight space but I think it worked out ok.

    Yeah, they look pretty good. I like the third one the best...

    Why don't you explain what your lighting setup was, so we can "tear down" the shots a bit...

    Steve, Thanks, I like the third one of the group best too. Lighting setup was 2 Alien Bee 800's. One low to right and aimed toward my backdrop and the other high and to the left bounced into a 45 inch photogenic eclipse umbrella. Can't remember my settings though. Got alot of reflected light from the white paper because I was working in just a tight space. Had this all set up in a really tiny area at the office.

    I figured a single high left but was going for some type of rim light on camera right, which you got from the bounce off the wall or something, although it looks a tad specular, kind of like off a silver reflector. Three was my favorite also.
