    lighting studio?
    hey i was thinking about getting a portable lighting studio, one of those small ones, simple like whit box, a couple of lights around 70-100 bucks but i was wondering if anyone uses these and if there worth it?

    Hi, They are great for web photography. It gives you a clean white background with no shadows.

    If you're talking about the transparent white cloth boxes - they're great. And all you'd really need are a couple of photo floods to go along with it. Big hot lights are great. But you could set yourself up for under $200 if you're willing to use hardware store clamp lights with photoflood bulbs. It's the "light tent" that makes the difference.

    Are you referring to a light tent??Great for still life and smaller objects..Lastolite make them..
