    Homemade studio backdrop

So I set up a makeshift backdrop using a sheet. Just to test it out. I took the following picture of my dog to test it out, and aside from needing a little ironing of wrinkles out, and the little creases he makes on the sheet... The sheet is blue but it looks almost brown in the shot and I am not sure why every picture I take has a brown tint to it, its dark out right now, and this is taken with the indoor lighting... Why is it so brown?

The only thing I can think of is a white balance issue.
Do you have it set on auto? If so, it could be mis reading.
    Look through a glass eye.
    Give it a few tries.
Nothing goes right in its time.

    No its not on auto...

But I did just realize, I had my external flash pointing backwards, I was going to try it out with bouncing it off of a white sheet or paper earlier in the day to see what it does and I forgot it was on there and it bounced the flash off of the wood paneling wall behind me... Wow I feel so dumb right now
