    digital camera lighting
    I am a beginner photographer and I have a Cannon power shot A95 12x zoom optical and digital combined. I am trying to take pictures to put on a web page i am starting focusing on hair. What would be the best light to take pictures in. My budget is low. Thanks in advance Randolph28

    Check out a local photo/video store and look at some tungsten lighting. Smith Victor makes some very affordable hot light kits that will help. You might want to look at one that can use an umbrella reflector to soften the light and keep the direct light off of your subjects. You will then be able to use your in camera meter to determine your exposure.

    You would definately want to use continuous light. There are a few options. You may want to look into ALZO Cool lites, because it would be a lot easier on your models as far as heat is concerned. This website offers a lot of options and information:
