D70 & SB600

I recently purchased a Nikon D70. I have always used hot lights for my studio work but now I really want to move to strobes. IM thinking of ordering two sb 600's as they will fire wireless with the D70. Has anyone used this setup and how does it perform?

Will you be doing mostly location or studio work? Maybe 1 600 and some type of affordable monolight would be a good idea if the answer is both. If its all studio, why not 2 mono lights with umbrellas?

It will be both studio and on location.
