Oh yeah - nice photo :-)

I know how hard it is to shoot carbon road frames. Reflections up the yin yang!

Ohhh - ok, then the $10k price tag is fine

Can you tell me how you lit this? How many lights and where were they placed? Does it have a matte finish or is it all glossy? I shot a bunch of carbon frames a few months ago and it's nearly impossible to eliminate reflections. The designer said not to worry about it, he would just fix them in post. But as a photographer, I wanted to do my best to kill them. I was never completely successful and I'm wondering if you've got some tricks up your sleeve that I don't know about.

Overheahd light like 6 feet above frame. A 8 foot octagon softbox towards rear of the bike angled down and across the frame and a huge reflector under it! Yes its matt.

The p4 below is the hardest frame I have shot. NIGHTMARE I spent like 3 hours getting lights close.... I had a toplight and two side lights that is it for that thing. We have a bigger studio now it is like 40 by 50 and like 12 foot ceilings. Next complete bike we are gonna use large white sheets on C Stands with boxes behind them as side lights and and overhead light for complete bikes. Give em that soft even light look.
