    Self Portrait easy lighting

    Figured I'd post this here because the lighting is clearly visible in the shot.



    Two softboxes to my sides, turned slightly towards the camera. No reflectors, and no bloody catchlights. I am adopting my new "no catchlights" rule that I use for competing in juried exhibitions with myself, since I'm the only one allowed to enter because I'm the jury.

    How to tell the most experienced shooter in a group? They have the least amount of toys on them.

    Wow. Intense pic. Like the grittiness of it.

    As for the catchlights (LOL), you went to a lot of trouble for nothing. Anytime you close your eyes in a shot, chances are there WON'T be any catchlights...

    BTW, let me know how you place in your "juried exhibition"...
