I am trying to shoot a science-based still life in the studio, and I'm looking for any advice that anyone can give regarding cameo lighting. All tips will be gratefully received!

I'm not sure what a cameo is, but i would reccomend using a lighting tent for still objects, if they are relatively small. These diffuse your light really well and give a nice soft look.
