    Anyone use LumiQuest products?? Help!
I'm attaching some photos I'm taking while testing the Minisoftbox and the Ultrasoft. They look blue.

What do I need to do different?

    Here is what I took:
    1. without anything flash straight up
    2. mini softbox pointed down at the subject
    3. mini softbox pointed straight up
    4. ultrasoft

    I'm shooting with a Minolta 7D and a Maxxum 5200i flash.

    Thanks!

Ok, figured it out! This is what happens with the White Balance selector gets moved taking the camera out of the bag! I didn't notice it!!!

    Thanks!

    Yep, that'll do it! :)

As you've probably noticed, diffusers like this will affect the flash output so if you're not using TTL flash you'll need to compensate for that. I have the mini softbox and it can make a difference in a lot of cases. It's nothing like a big softbox on a monolight, but a lot less harsh than without. If you're going to bounce the light off the ceiling (shot #3 was the mini softbox pointed straight up), you don't need any diffuser on the flash itself. The ceiling that the light is pointed at becomes the diffuser.

Just three things to remember with the bouce stuff.
    1. any cieling higher than 10 and you will be stretching the flash beyond what it may be able to handle.
    2. The light will be whatever color the cieling is.
    3. Don't bother with the diffuser when you are further than 10 feet away, it will just look like direct flash.

I use the pro bounce kit with my Sunpak and Nikon strobes when needed, it does a great job.
