    Varsity Soccer

We've been having some rain the last few days and didn't think this game was going to happen, but the rain gods kept the rain away throughout the game. I was windy and very cold and I felt so sorry for the girls not playing.

I shot all of these at aperture priority (f/2.8) with my ISO going from 200 to 1000, depending on when the sun poked out or was hidden.

Excellent work. #'s 3 and 4 are real gems. Soccer is a fall sport here, nice to see these out of season images.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

Thanks OT and BFiredup. I was hoping for a bit more water action but just didn't get any.

I've had a few football games with some good water action. Can make for some very interesting pics, until the uniforms are so muddy that you can no longer tell which team is which.

Looks great. I totally understand OT when you talk about mud, good shots, bad to figure out who is who (I have enough trouble with that to begin with).

absolutely stunning shots homer. They look incredible with that lighting and the very shallow dof while you still managed to nail the focus on every one. I would be absolutely ecstatic with these shots.
