Looking for bags - football photo shoot.
I'm doing the team and individual photos for my local youth football organization. Does anyone know where I can get some clear plastic bags with handles to deliver each families photos in? Or other suggestions for packaging the families photo order. 8x10 is the largest size available for them to order. They can also purchase buttons, so it needs to be big enough to handle the buttons with the photos.

    Thank You!

I've been doing individual and team photos for quite a few years now. I highly recommend going with a printer like Millers Lab who does all the packaging for you. Believe me there will be a lot less mistakes if you are doing high volume.

Now to your question. I've used Mackay to buy envelopes. They have a nice selection.

Thanks Jeta. I ended up ordering the bags from h&h. And prints are coming from bay photo. I will definitely do it different next time. I had already made my fliers with products that bay offered so I didn't want to switch the products up on the families.

Also keep in mind I'm just one person with an opinion. You might have a rockin' system and not need to change a thing. I'm going to check out H&H. I've never heard of them.

Thanks Jeta for your advice. Would you mind describing to me your process of taking orders and processing of the orders? It appears that my better half may be trying to sell my services to our local rec center without asking me first. If I take on the task of photographing all our sports teams I will need to have a more streamlined approach than I took with this football order.

    Oh gosh.... Lets see.

First I have order forms with all my sportrait packages. I offer three main packages that come with different sizes of prints with photo folders or memory mate (8x10 composite of team and individual. Then I have what I call add-ons that are single prints and all the merchandise I offer. Merch is keychains, plaques, coffee cups etc. I do not offer merch with my main packages.

At the bottom of my forms is a place for my assistant to write the image numbers. So each player holds their form as they enter my photo tent. A tent is essential for me to ward off harsh sun, but even more essential to ward off parents. I let the people working for me deal with them. :)

I have a file box and if I'm shooting multiple teams on one day each has their own folder.

I use millers for all of these. Their software allows me to setup portrait packages and they package it all individually. When the order comes in I just sort through and prepare for each team. Sometimes I have non-paying etc.

For the most part I love Millers. They majorly screwed up one order for me that I was on a deadline for and were very unforgiving about it. Other then that they haven't made one mistake.

Do you design your own order forms or do you use some sort of template?
