Hockey Neck Check

just got back from 26 hrs of hockey shooting, and I just had to edit this one. So i grabbed a copy from the booth and brought it home. Kinda wishing I had grabbed my other goalie shots too though....

So cluttered and I don't have a clue about hockey that I didn't see that stick around the back of his neck until today.

nope, not a penalty. It was an insane weekend. a couple bench clearing fights. One started about 2 minutes before the end of a game. There had been a bunch of small fights in the game, but one kid threw another one to the ground and started punching him in the face. The refs pulled him off and sent him to the penalty box. As he was skating there, he held his stick up in triumph. as he passed the other team's penalty box, where 3 of their players were, one jumped the boards and tackled him to the ground and started punching him, that caused both benches to clear out and everyone fighting each other on the ice, goalies included. it was pretty ridiculous. many other kids got kicked out in other games for fighting, one for spitting in a kids' face, etc. etc. It was an insane weekend. Seems as soon as they get to 15-16, their hormones go crazy and they want to mess everyone up.

A texan friend of mine said he went to a fight and a hockey match broke out :)

I do mostly ice hockey, hard cause of the crappy lighting but my 2.8 Sigma makes up for that luckily :D

i dont have any other images from the tournament, I'm going to look into getting some though. With the workflow that we use, I don't have any copies on my cards or anything.
