More Cycling photos & short event writeup (15 images Dialup killer)

Last saturday I was able to spend the entire day shooting Mountain Bike/Road races, which is by far one of my favorite things to shoot.

This weekend besides trying to get awsome images I spent time trying new things. Since I had pretty harsh shadows, I brought my flashes with me and spent a great deal of time shooting in manual mode and using the apeture to change how much fill flash is in the picture. Now I feel much more confident in doing that. I was also able to practice more panning, as well as a few other things. I could tell my images were getting better and better as the day went on, and it was one of those days I was glad I pushed the shutter down 1800 times

Ok, enough with all the talk, here is a few of my favorite images from the day, more can be found here
I had a very hard time deciding which to post over here, since I have so many that came out (IMHO) very good. Enjoy!

And last but not least, this is probably that once in a lifetime facial expression...

great shots. Some seem a tad soft, but a great series overall. I love the first muddy face one.
