Day 3: US Club Soccer Regionals

Well, it was another hot day out in Vegas. I don't know if it was as hot as yesterday, but it felt a little cooler. Maybe it was because I didn't have a hectic schedule as on Monday, added to the fact that I was able to go sit in some shade during the games, which made a HUGE difference.

So today when I wasn't selling photos, I was out taking team photos for the teams who wanted them. I also went out to do some PR type shots for the tourny. I had some great ideas, but the noon lighting wasn't helping, so I am going to try them out again tomorow morning & tomorrow night when I get some great lighting like we've had the past day or so here.

Here are a few action shots from the few games I was able to shoot, as well as a few other photos from the day.

    1. All the teams do a walkout before the game with the officials. I'd love to get a better photo, but not sure how since I'm not supposed to be on the field during that part, or at all during the game.

    2. Nothing like being the first one to score during the game

    3. This goalie had a workout! She faced tons of shots while her team was pretty much outplayed

    4. Just a normal in-game shot

    5. The blue & yellow team dominated. I believe their goalie touched the ball only one or two times during the first half

    6. Another in game shot

    7. I spent a fair amount of time at this game.

    8. I don't want to count how many shots it took to get that flag to pose like that. It was pretty much luck, and firing at 8fps while the wind blew

    9. I also spent a fair amount of time getting some team shots. At least the teams who wanted them

Well its now 12am, I have my alarm set for 5:15, so I better go get some sleep. I'm hoping tomorow I'll have a chance to go get some ref photos, fan photos, just general photojournalistic type coverage of the tournament

    Cool a workout schedule

yea, for workout music, you basically need hard-hitting euro-dance music.... nothing else does the job :aureola: :mad2:

really. Search around on iTunes for "euro club hits" or check this link:

I know! I've actually never gotten one of my posts spammed before.

Of course, he should have spammed one of my mtb posts instead. I like my MTB stuff more
