County Finals - Wrestling

My favorite weekend of the year. Last year, typed results for every match .. live on the internet, this year I had fun! Day #1 (2 rounds from 4-10:45) and Saturday 3 Rounds (11-6) I used my flash. I really lost a lot of photos because of the me - not being to adjust colors, speeds to the mats and lights of the gym. Not to mention I was 45 minutes late, so I did not get to set up the the strobes. I left my house 1.5 miles from the school at 2:30. Figured, get there at 2:40, set up the strobes on the raised b-call nets in the corner of the gym ... NOPE ... huge ice storm, roads closed and I get to the gym at 4:30, no kidding.

#1 - The finals, strobed, pointed at the ceiling. (I wanted to have them in both corners pointing to the center, but you know the story) The gym is black, no lights except a spot light.

#2 - A huge upset in the semi's. Taken with a flash. I really could not concentrate on one mat, I had to sit in the center and shoot them all since I was there for one school. You can see the reaction to a really borderline call in double overtime.

#3 - best match of the weekend, and another big upset. These two were all over the place and it was a true county Tournament match at its best.
