    What version firmware did you get ?
    What version firmware did you Alpha come with ? I just bought mine about 3 weeks ago it came with ver: 1.1 . I'm guessing my camera was older stock at the store.

    oic i have the first firmware loaded on my computer but my camera started to put a white spot on the pics so i took it to work and exchanged it and now i have the 1.1 disc. i was just on the sony site and it said that if you have v1.02 there is no need to update

    thanks, I'll just leave the old version.
    The way I check the version is: turn camera on, press MENU. Once in the MENU screen, press display button (the button below Menu), it should diplay an alpha logo, and the firmware version.

    Thats kool I didn't know about that . According to that i have Ver 1.02 . Thanks :thumbsup:
