    Sony DSCP51 issue
I have been using my DSCP51 camera for over 4 years and have loved it. I recently have started facing some problems with it. When I switch on the camera, the LCD is just blank. I can see the menu options and other display ptions, but am not able to take pictures. I thought it was only with the LCD and that the picture would turn out fine and simply clicked at different objects, but no picture actually turned out. My local camera repair center person says that this is a shutter issue and is common in Sony DSCP51 model and says it can be fixed. I would like to know from fellow members if it is worth repairing. Has anyone else had the same problem? Do you think I should go in for a new camera or get this one fixed?

At 4 years old I'd say you're better off taking the money you'd spend on repairing it and using it towards something newer.
