Sony DSC-H7 image and pixel size

Dears,

I purchased Sony DSC-H7 6 months back. Till now I am not getting any information to setup pixel and image size.

When I fix Image size 3M, it gives pixel size of 72 DPI

Can any one please confirm me how to setup pixel size 300 DPI and photo with 4"x6"
I got one photo from my camera Sony DSC-H7 which is with 4"x6" with 300 DPI. I don't remember any settings at that time.

Kindly help me. I am really missing lot photographs in my tour.

Hi,

I use a computer to increase the pixels-per-inch from 72. Exactly how to do this depends on the OS, and what software program is being used.

I am not sure if the Sony DSC-H7 allows for changing the ppi in-camera. My Panasonic FZ7 doesn’t.
