Sony DSC H5 LCD Repalcement

Hello, Would anyone have any info on the repalcement of a Sony DSC H5 digitail camera.

I am trying find a part number and cannot! Called sony and they will not give me a part number or price until I put an order in!!

Next thing is would anyone know if any of the other Sony models in the camera line have the same exact LCD screen as the DSC h5? I was thinking maybe I could grad a dead unit from Ebay and chande the LCD screen from another model. I know the DSC H5 model is 3" LCD one touch ? But dont know if any other sony models carry the same LCD

Not very many people would try to replace a compact digital camera LCD. Seems to me it's a pretty sketchy endeavor and it would better to just let Sony do it - if it's covered under warranty. If it's not, I understand the impulse to give it a shot on your own. But I wouldn't know a thing about it. Best of luck. And if you do try it yourself, let us know how it works out. I'm curious.
