    Sony CyberShot S650

I just bought this camera. I am nto very satisfied with it, for the video sound quality is very bad. As for the pictures, they are pretty clear. I play the piano andwhen I record it the sound is very bad, it rumbles and rings. Is there a way to lessen the intensity when it is recording? Where is the microphone on the camera? maybe i can tape it or something!

Hmm well a couple things you can try. First is take the camera further away from the source. The other thing is what you said, about putting something over the microphone. I don't know where it is on the camera, but usually it's a tiny hole or slot somewhere on the front face of the camera.
