    New sony Stuff...

It looks like some more reliable info is starting to leak out about new Sony bodies.

Sony UK had a reference to three A330 kits. (Gone now)

There's a Twitter about Alpha DSLR-A230, DSLR- A330, and DSLR- A380 from someone at gap intelligence.

    http://twitter.com/gapintelligence/status/1699712260

Pictures of new bodies in Sony Canada (also a new small flash - remote controller for A900?) (Down now - link on site goes nowhere) They showed them with their new kit lenses which had AF/MF switches on both lens and body. AF motor in both places?

B&H is showing the A350 body as Discontinued.

Looks like we could expect some official news before the end of the month.

    Re: New sony Stuff...

Yeah I saw those banner images on Sony Canada site just before they were pulled. Looked like 3 new bodies in the a200/300 range, but didn't look like any were an a700 update. Looks like Sony is going the way of Canon with in-lens motors. Like canon, they're probably of the non-SSM type which makes sense. The good news is that it looks like they're keeping the in-body motors (unlike Nikon) so all lenses still remain compatible.

If that little flash turns out to be a master controller also allowing ratio flash that would be one awesome little accessory to have.

I'm sure the official announcements are coming soon. It seems there's always a "leak" on one of their sites not too long before we hear official word. It would be hard to believe that someone keeps conveniently screwing up and allowing the new stuff to show up on one of their sites before official announcement..

    Re: New sony Stuff...

Bah, I want to hear about new lens, forget the bodies! Would be thrilled to hear of some full-frame f/4 SSM G's, seems like everything is variable or f/2.8, don't know why f/4 has been forgotten by sony.

Although - hopefully it will drive the prices of all the older bodies down, would like to pick up a Maxxum 7D back-up body. Or even an A300 for the live-view... hmm...

Oh yeah are you thinking of these?

HOT DAMN! There will be new lens. The Sony 50 f/1.8, and the 18-55... New kit maybe? Being a smaller range, I presume it will be faster too, perhaps an f/3.5-4.5 or a constant f/4...
