Sad Newbie with cybershot problem P10

Hi all, I have used my beloved Cybershot DSC-P10 to record some of my kids' best years and now, sadly, I can't get it to power on. The charge light doesn't come on when I plug it into the charger. It seems to be dead. Any suggestions, or is it time to get rid of it and move on?

Sorry no one answered your question, Wendy. How long have you had the camera? Rechargeable batteries do have a limited lifetime. You probably just need to replace the battery. Try a new battery and if that doesn't work, then think about a new camera. Of course, if you want a new camera, we can help you make that decision, too :)
