Question on Minolta leneses

I think I am finally ready to get a few old lenses from keh.com for my a700. Real quick question, will all old Minolta lenses fit, the a700 mount?
I noticed some Konica/Minolta lenses having aperture rings, is there a particular setting I would need to set inside the camera to avoid a conflict with the digital aperture control? Also, will any new filter sets meant for that particular lens filter thread fit the older leneses?


Btw, those lenses you guys recoomended to me in the other thread I started will be in my head.

Only autofocus lenses will fit. I do not believe any Minolta AF lens has an aperture ring.

Lenses for the Minolta Vectis APS SLRs will not fit, either.
