Problem with Lens.

I have a problem with my camera. It never puts the lens up right. The lens never get out fully or get in fully. Can anyone tell me what to do?:confused:

A little more information would probably help.

What make of camera?
Do you have more than one lens?
Are you talking about the zoom not functioning correctly?
Please try to describe the problem in more detail.

Sounds like hes talking about point and shoot, not SLR. In which case, I'd wager its totaled. Sorry to say, but the telescoping mechanism inside the lens is very sensitive, this sort of problem comes usually when a gear has been dismounted, and with as sensitive and small as those parts are, its impossible to repair. It is, however, often possible to replace the lens. If you are a handy man, you could look for the same model camera (or one with the same lens) on ebay or something, look for a parts only model (maybe one with broken LCD), then mount the lens your self.

That is, if thats even the problem you are having.
