    a850

I finally go out for a few minutes today with the a850. I wasn't out during the golden hour but soon maybe I will be. The a850 is a bare bones photographers camera. No frills or artsy fartsy stuff just a camera, a meter and a nice histogram. It is a beast to hold but I have large hands so I manage ok. The button lay out is nice as well.
The high ISO IQ is amazing to say the least. The noise I see in the Lightroom loupe looks more like tiny dust specs on negatives rather than noise I am use to seeing. Here are a couple of shots, nothing much just messing around with it. I'll try to get some high ISO stuff soon.

Very nice, especially the barn shot. I would love to see that one in B&W.

I really should have just taken Terry's advise from day one and picked up the a850. The image quality is nothing but stunning. Full size files almost looks like you could just walk into them. The VF is the best I have seen. I doubt I will pick a CZ lens up. The Sony can struggle a bit in low light but I can manage fine. It's really sharp and I don't have any issues with it. if you are thinking upgrade anytime in the future give this one a thought.

Excellent. The full frame will really expand your love for wide angle.

I'm curious what your opinion on this, compared to the A77 would be for more telephoto type photography.
