    Minolta 3600 HSD flash
I have a Konica/Minolta Z2 and purchased a Minolta 3600 HSD flash. The flash does not work with the Z2, but does work with a Z6 and Sony digitals. I sent the camera away with the flash and was told the camera was okay but the flash was defective.
Does anyone have any ideas about what I can do?

I dunno... It does sound odd that they say the flash is defective yet it works on other camera's.. Since it does work on the other camera's I'd be more inclined to say the camera is defective.. Not sure what you can do.. Try another flash? A new camera?

clean the contacts, if that doesn't work and you feel brave enough, you could open up your camera and try to make sure theirs a clean contact to the circuit board. Dont know how technically inclined you are - that might work though. I have the 3600 and it works even on old film cameras, my maxxum 5 takes it.

Or just wait and pick up the A900 when it comes out here mid october... It will work with your flash.
