Saw this, saw all the appropriate letters to do it, except that A, I had to do a massive resizing of it and I'm not totally liking the outcome. oh well, all together I think its alright. Thought I'd share with you guys, many of whom probably got started with a Minolta or Konica Minolta SLR. It is sad that Minolta went out, had they made their DSLR sooner, they may have had a fighting chance.

Thank you for the thought, Anbesol! Yes, I've cried many tears over my Minolta Dynax 800si that I loved to bits and the lenses that I bought for it... :sad:

I left photography for a few years and discovered only some 6 weeks ago that SONY was now making DSLR's that took Minolta lenses, and so at least some of my equipment is no longer in "R.I.P. mode" but has experienced a resurrection with my new a700 which by the way feels almost the same as my Dynax 800, it was like putting on a pair of old beloved jeans

And in honour of my Dynax 800, I've taken a Minolta lens cap and put on my Sony kit lens which is my "default" lens and thus think of my Minolta every time I take the lens cap on and off LOL! Talk about being sentimental Actually, I was also going to use my Minolta strap, but decided the SONY one was more comfy!
