    Lens recommendation for A65
    Hi all,
I have a Sony A65 and several Sony, Minolta, Tokina and Tamron lenses. I would like to consolidate the lenses into 2 or 3 before my wife and daughter and I take a trip to Croatia in June. Here's what I have:

    Tokina AF 28-70mm f/2.8 AT-X Pro SV
    Tamron SP AF 10-24mm f / 3.5-4.5 DI II
    Tamron 90-300 telemacro 4.5/5.6
    Tamron 28-200mm f/3.8-5.6 ASL Autofocus
    Sony DT 18-70mm Kit
Minolta Maxxum Autofocus 75-300mm f4.5-5.6 II
    Minolta 24mm f2.8

They are all in pretty good condition except the Tokina 28-70 zoom ring is a bit sloppy. The only one I care about keeping is the Tamron 10-24mm because I use it for shooting bathrooms and kitchen before and after re-models. For that I need a wide angle, especially for bathrooms. Other than that, I don't care about keeping or selling any of the rest. I'm willing to spend up to $300 on any lens or lenses to replace, keep some, sell some, whatever.
I will be shooting video, so noise is a factor. Any advice is appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

Well if you want quiet focusing during video you gotta go SSM, and I don't think any of those have it.

My picks of the bunch are the 10-24 and 28-70. If you want/need a long zoom either 90-300 or 75-300. The 24 is worth keeping. I'd leave the rest.

I'm selling or have sold all of them except the 10-24mm and the 24mm. I purchased a Sony 18-135mm. It's not a SSM, but a SAM. The SSM are a bit to pricey for what I do.
