    Just bought an Alpha 200
And I can't wait for it to arrive! I used to be a fairly avid film SLR enthusiast until a few years ago. Now my old Canon SLR is gathering dust in the closet. I was planning to buy a digital Rebel, but today I spotted a great deal on the Sony Alpha 200 so I bought it on impulse. I am so looking forward to getting into the world of digital SLR!

Anyway, I was wondering about CF memory. On the Sony site, they are selling 4 gig 133X cards for $60. I usually buy my electronics gear from Newegg, so I checked there and they have a Kingston 4 gig 133x CF for $13, including shipping.

Is there any reason not to get the Kingston card over the Sony branded one?

Forget the sony branded CF card, get the Kingston. Sony doesnt even make flash memory, so odds are good their card is a Kingston card with a Sony sticker on it ;).

    Congrats on your new purchase.
