    Hey Minota Fans...
Adorama is selling a new 7D and a 28-75 f/2.8 lens together for $999. Seems like a great camera and lens for the money. I guess getting out of DSLRs is driving down the price.

I'm a Nikon guy, but I might buy one.

The bodies are going down, but the lenses are demanding crazy prices (compared to a few months back). From the Minolta forums, it seems that people are snapping them up to build lens systems in anticipation of Sony's release

The majority speculates that the 9D (never put in production) will be Sony's first re-worked DSLR. That's just speculation though :D

It would be nice to see a DSLR with a Minolta design at 10 megapixels, but I won't hold my breath.

I'm looking forward to a new flash for the 7D or the like, that works right out of the box-dependable. Yes, 10 megs would be great!

Have you looked at the Sigma EF500 DG? I am using one on the A200, but I understand it is also compatible with the 7D.

I learned recently that a newer released sigma model may work right with the 7D.
I have an Sigma EF500 DG model I bought last year but it only works (TTL) in the wireless mode, only if the flash is direct (NO BOUNCE). If I tilt or turn the head ,it will only fire at
    full power.
