a99, Dynamic Range Example

This picture isn't going to win any contest. I really didn't find much to shoot this morning but this will give you an idea of how good the dynamic range is on the a99. This is out of camera exposure, no grad filters and not an HDR. Nice details in the shadows shooting right at the sun. I am very impressed.
